Hario V60 plastic 02
Maker’s price on Oct 2, 2026: $13.00 and $14.00 at Hario. White and red $13.00; clear $14.00. Or buy from Hario
Hario’s page calls the V60 conical. It says the spiral ridges and a lack of flow restriction let you pour quickly for a delicate body or slowly for a heavier flavor. That is the maker’s description. This site did not pour either way. The page does not, in that text, count the holes in the bottom.
- Price: white, $13.00, SKU HR-VD-02W, marked available. Red, $13.00, SKU HR-VD-02R, marked available. Clear, $14.00, SKU HR-VD-02T, marked available. No compare-at price on those variants. Clear is $1.00 more than white or red. Product numbers on the page: VD-02W, VD-02T, and VD-02R. Source: Hario USA, checked October 2, 2026. hario-usa.com V60 plastic 02
- Size: W137 × D116 × H102 mm. Capacity: 1–4 cups. The page does not define a cup in milliliters. Materials: the clear dripper is acrylonitrile-styrene resin. The page does not name a separate resin for white or red. Made in Japan.
Hario V60 ceramic 01
$27.50. Hario USA, checked October 2, 2026.
ShopThe same conical description is on the ceramic page: spiral ridges and no flow restriction, in the maker’s words. The size is the 01, not the 02. The listed cup range is smaller.
- Price: white, $27.50, SKU HR-VDC-01W, marked available. Red, $27.50, SKU HR-VDCR-01-R, marked available. No compare-at price. Product numbers printed in the description: VDC-01-W and VDCR-01-R. The white variant SKU is HR-VDC-01W, without the hyphen the product-number line uses in VDC-01-W. Both codes are on the page. $27.50 is $14.50 more than the plastic 02 in white or red at $13.00, and the capacity line goes from 1–4 cups to 1–2 cups. Source: Hario USA, checked October 2, 2026. hario-usa.com V60 ceramic 01
- Size: W119 × D100 × H82 mm. Capacity: 1–2 cups. Material: porcelain. The page says the drippers are Arita-yaki and handmade. Made in Japan.
A matching ceramic 02 path, /products/v60-ceramic-coffee-dripper-02, returned 404 on October 2, 2026. This article does not invent a price or a size for a ceramic 02.
Melitta 1-cup plastic cone
$4.99. Melitta’s shop, checked October 2, 2026.
ShopMelitta’s page calls this a pour-over brew cone. It says the cone design lets you see into the cup without lifting it. It does not, in the text used here, say how many holes are in the bottom, and it does not say “flat.”
- Price: $4.99, SKU 64007, marked available. No compare-at price. That is $8.01 less than the Hario plastic 02 in white or red at $13.00. Source: Melitta’s shop, checked October 2, 2026. shoponline.melitta.com 1-cup brew cone
- Dimensions: 5 in W, 4.5 in D, 4 in H. The page says it uses #2 or #4 cone filters, is BPA free, is top-rack dishwasher safe, and includes a start-up supply of #2 filters. “1-cup” is the title. The page does not define a cup in milliliters. The next box of filters is not priced here, so it is not in any sum.
Melitta Signature Series porcelain, 1-cup
$19.99. Melitta’s shop, checked October 2, 2026.
ShopThe page calls this a pour-over coffeemaker and a cone. It says a medium-size drip opening gives a consistent brew, a ring under that opening directs flow into the mug, full-height ridges are inside the cone, and two viewing holes prevent overflow. “One drip opening” and “two viewing holes” are different objects. The page does not call the bottom flat.
- Price: $19.99, SKU 64032, marked available. No compare-at price. A line on the page says promotions and discounts do not apply to Signature Series pour-overs. $19.99 is $15.00 more than the plastic cone at $4.99, and $7.51 less than the Hario ceramic 01 at $27.50. The titles are still both “1-cup” on Melitta’s side. Hario’s ceramic 01 says 1–2 cups. Those are the makers’ labels, not a measured volume. Source: Melitta’s shop, checked October 2, 2026. shoponline.melitta.com Signature Series porcelain
- The page says high-quality porcelain with a white gloss finish, top-rack dishwasher safe, #4 cone filters, and a starter pack of those filters. It does not print a width, depth, or height. Those blanks stay blank.
Kalita Wave, with no U.S. dollar price
Shop ShopKalita’s own pages for the Wave dripper 185 S and the Wave dripper 155 S were opened on October 2, 2026. They are the maker’s Japanese pages. They do not print a U.S. dollar price. This article does not convert yen, and it does not use a shop that is not Kalita. Kalita stays out of every dollar sum below.
- Wave dripper 185 S, product code 05151. The page prints 5,500 yen and, in parentheses, a body price of 5,000 yen. Both figures are on the page. This article does not decide which one includes tax. The page says it is a stainless steel dripper, made in Japan, for the Wave filter 185, and for 2–4 people. Product weight: 175 g. The size line is a cosmetic-box size, 120 × 120 × 80 mm, not a dripper width. Source: kalita.co.jp Wave dripper 185 S
- Wave dripper 155 S, product code 04151. The page prints 4,950 yen and a body price of 4,500 yen. Same split as the 185. Stainless steel, made in Japan, for the Wave filter 155, and for 1–2 people. Product weight: 138 g. Cosmetic-box size: 110 × 110 × 70 mm. Source: kalita.co.jp Wave dripper 155 S
The pages call these Wave drippers and name a Wave filter. The text opened does not say “flat bottom,” and it does not count holes. This comparison does not add those words. “2–4 people” and “1–2 people” are Kalita’s lines. They are not Hario’s “cups,” and they are not Melitta’s “1-cup” title.
What the pages put side by side
- Shape, only in the maker’s words. Hario says conical. Melitta says cone. Kalita says Wave, and names a Wave filter. A flat bottom is not printed on the Kalita text used here, so it is not scored.
- U.S. prices that can be compared: Melitta plastic $4.99, Hario plastic 02 white or red $13.00, Hario plastic clear $14.00, Melitta porcelain $19.99, Hario ceramic 01 $27.50. Kalita’s yen prices are not in that list.
- Listed size of brew, without converting units the pages did not share. Hario plastic 02: 1–4 cups. Hario ceramic 01: 1–2 cups. Melitta: a 1-cup title, and no milliliter definition. Kalita 155: 1–2 people. Kalita 185: 2–4 people.
- Filters the pages name. Melitta plastic: #2 or #4 cone filters, with a start of #2 included. Melitta porcelain: #4 cone filters, starter pack included. Kalita: Wave filter 155 or 185, and the page says the dripper is for that filter. Hario’s plastic and ceramic pages used here do not name a filter size. That blank stays blank.
- Material. Hario plastic clear: acrylonitrile-styrene resin. Hario ceramic 01: porcelain. Melitta plastic: the page says BPA free and does not name a resin. Melitta porcelain: porcelain. Kalita: stainless steel.
None of that is a taste ranking. Body, bitterness, and drawdown time were not measured here.
What to check on the listing
- Hario color. White and red plastic were $13.00. Clear was $14.00. The resin line names the clear dripper only.
- 01 versus 02. The ceramic page that returned 200 is the 01, at 1–2 cups. The ceramic 02 URL returned 404. Do not treat the 01 as a larger cone.
- Melitta’s two cones. Plastic is $4.99 and names #2 or #4. Porcelain is $19.99, names #4, and says discounts do not apply.
- Kalita. The maker prices found today are yen, with a tax-included figure and a body price on each page. There is still no U.S. dollar list price to add to a kit sum. The starter-kit page is the place for those sums: pour-over starter kit.
A dripper plus a grinder and a kettle, with those sums, is already on the pour-over starter kit page. This page does not repeat that kit.
